He has a B.Com from Sherubtse College under Delhi University. After his graduation he has been working for Construction business, Export and import and wood base industries business till 2005.
The only college graduate from amongst 205 gups in the country. He was the first ever college graduate in the history of Bhutanese political area to be elected a gup.
