PDP Candidates

Has a B.A. (Economics) from Sherubtse College, LL.B. (General) from University of Bombay, India, and LL.M (International Legal Studies) from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma from the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) the Hague, Netherlands. He started his career in 1994 as a Deputy Registrar General in the High Court. He then served as a Chief Judge in the district courts in Gelephug, Mongar, Wagdi and Punakha. He was appointed as the first Attorney General in August 200. He has served as a member to a number of government committees and bodies.
