Who says PDP does not have good support among the educated lot and our youth?

it seems like something is wrong with the website. i also checked it and was proud that PDP was leading. but demoralizingly, when i checked it further, it showed DPT leading by 27 votes. DPT had 230 votes and PDP 213 votes. while it’s good they show PDP ahead, the reality is DPT ahead of PDP by a small margin.
if you want to try it out, just cast a vote and check the answer.

Everywhere i look i hear discussions on pdp, dpt.
My prayers and best wishes to pdp, as this seems to be the party whose time has come to serve the People, the Nation.
I truly believe that pdp have the candidates who are able, and sincerely will serve the people.
The pdp president has a track record of delivering to the people, we look forward to his “walk the talk” and “service with humility”.

  6. HappyHeart :

all the people and i am very excited that pdp will win. the president of pdp will make it sure that his candidates will always be helping us in our work big and small. pdp will look after all the voters of their party (and also to those who didnt vote for them) because they are sure to know how their president is so concerned for us and our families some in the village also.

One swallow does not make a summer. If it is true that DPT has more support from the educated lot (maily civil servants), it means that the kidu (welfare) of civil servants and rural farmers do not coincide. We civil servants would want a salaray raise, not farm road for instance. Any educated people can be easily won by DPT’s speeches perfumed with promises and lies even as our farmers’ stomachs goes hungry. This also hold true for richer districts. Most of PDP’s promises do not attract them, except DPT flying principles (as high cranes that seldom lands on earth, unlike a horse). What has Bumthang dzongkhag to do with farm road for example when it has lateral high way.

    PDP GYALO!!!!

PDP had some excellent candidates and led by the party president, the party would certainly have walked their talk. PDP’s loss was a major brain-drain.
Lynpo is a dynamic leader, a ‘mover and shaker’ and would certainly have delivered to the nation. As commented in some foreign papers, “it was because of his Excellency’s ‘regal’ background” that brought him and the party down.
Had it been otherwise, the whole nation would have voted for lynpo.
At the least, most expected PDP to form a strong opposition but that did not happen and we have just ourselves to blame - we overdid overselves!
Your Excellency, thousands of your country-men still hold you in high esteem. Do not despair.
